Cannoli with Pistachio Cream
One of our favourite Italian desserts with true Sicilian roots! The name is derived from the word cannolu, which means little tube in Sicilian language. You can make the tubes yourself or buy them ready-made.
Ingredients
1 jar The Nut Kitchen Pistachio Spread
600g ricotta
Pre-made cannoli shells
Method
Mix a jar of The Nut Kitchen Pistachio Spread with the ricotta. Pipe the mixture into the shells using an icing bag. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios if desired. Refrigerate before serving
Optional: Dip shells in melted chocolate and refrigerate until hard.
